It's time for Fair Funding For First Nations Schools

 

All Kids Have Dreams. So Why Does Canada spend 30-50% less on First Nations Education? 

 

Exact estimates of the gap differ. 30% is often cited as a estimated national average. Other estimates are closer to 50%.  The government's own documents show that a gap exists and has a negative impact on children's opportunities. Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms promises all children the right to a fair education. The numbered treaties also support the right to education. We call on all Canadians to sign our petition to demand fair funding for First Nations Schools now! No child in Canada should have to fight for the right to a fair education.
